Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Lemus Construction, Inc. ("Lemus Construction", "we", "us") collects through Lemus System, the web and mobile platform at lemussystem.com and its related apps, how we use it, and the choices you have. It also covers the text message program described in section 6. The policy for our marketing website, lemusconstruction.com, is published there separately.
1. Who we are
Lemus Construction, Inc. is an exterior construction contractor based at 610 Louis Dr, Warminster Township, PA 18974, serving Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut and Northern Virginia. You can reach us at info@lemusconstruction.com or (215) 996-9966.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and account information: name, company or association, role, mailing address, email address, phone numbers, and sign-in details.
- Job information: property addresses, the work requested, inspection notes and photographs of the property, estimates, proposals, change orders, signed documents, invoices and payment status, warranty records, and the history of communications about the job.
- Electronic signature records: when you sign a proposal or change order electronically, the typed name, the time, the IP address and device used, and the exact document signed.
- Text message consent records: the phone number, the date and time, how consent was given (web form, in person, by phone, or by reply) and the wording you agreed to.
- Technical information: device type, app version, browser, IP address, approximate location when a field employee uses the app, and logs of activity in the platform.
Our employees' and subcontractors' use of the platform is also recorded, including who changed what and when, because the platform keeps an audit trail of every job.
3. How we use it
- To schedule, perform, document and bill the work you asked for.
- To send you appointment reminders, inspection notices, proposals, invoices, receipts and replies to your requests, by email, text message or phone.
- To keep accurate accounting, warranty and legal records.
- To operate, secure and improve the platform.
- To comply with the law, including home-improvement and contractor regulations in the states we serve.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that host the platform and store files, send email and text messages, place phone calls, generate documents, geocode addresses and provide weather data. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
- Accounting: invoices and payments are recorded in QuickBooks Online, our accounting system.
- Your own organization: if you are a property manager, board member or homeowner in an association we work with, job information is shared with the people at that organization who are responsible for the property.
- Subcontractors, engineers and suppliers working on your job, limited to what they need for it.
- Legal requirements: when the law, a court or a government authority requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
We do not sell personal information.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.
5. How long we keep it
Job, contract, warranty and accounting records are kept for as long as the law and our warranty obligations require, which can be many years after the work is complete. Text message consent and opt-out records are kept for as long as needed to prove consent and honor your opt-out. Technical logs are kept for a shorter period.
6. Text message program
Lemus Construction sends job-related text messages to customers and contacts who have agreed to receive them. The program is described in full in our Terms of Service. In summary:
- Messages are informational: appointment and inspection reminders, proposal and invoice notices, replies to your requests, and account notices. We do not send marketing texts under this program.
- Message frequency varies by job activity, up to 10 messages per week.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@lemusconstruction.com or (215) 996-9966.
- We record when and how you gave consent so we can honor your choices.
7. Security
Information is stored on servers in the United States, transmitted over encrypted connections, and protected by access controls so that each employee sees only what their role requires. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can ask us to correct your contact information at any time.
- You can stop text messages by replying STOP, and stop non-essential emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. We may still send notices required to perform a contract with you.
- You can ask what personal information we hold about you and, where the law allows, ask us to delete it. Some records must be kept for legal, contract or warranty reasons.

9. Children
The platform is for businesses and property owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes affecting the text message program will be sent to the contacts enrolled in it.
